Hi, I am 21 years old and experiencing growing pains at least three times a week. Is this normal at my age?

Dear Friend,
Growing pain is perfectly normal in your age.
If the pain is so severe that your sleeps is getting disturbed or you are having rest pain also, then we will have to get a general body check up done. Else, it forms a part of body physiology.

Feel free to discuss more, in case of any clarification required.

Dear Friend,
Rest Pain means pain which occurs even on rest.
Normally rest relieves us of the pain. But here, the rest has got no effect on the pain.

Also, forgot to add, I am on iron tablets three times a day to prevent becoming a full blown anemic, is this not a side effect? The Growing pains only started again at around the same time i started taking the iron tablets.
