Thanks. I have been doing pretty good the last few days and have been only eating healthy stuff. However, I am now starting to feel nauseous again. Before I would eat frequent snacks and that would help. However, I am more hungry now and am worried that if I snack more, I will gain even more weight. I am still snacking, but not as much. Can I take pepto to help or shouldn't you have that during pregnancy. I can say though, I was leaning towards not breastfeeding, but that added benefit of losing weight is really pushing me to do it : )
I have the same problem......I lost 35 lbs and was working out 5 times a week before pregnancy....and now I have gained all 35lbs back and probably more.....I will find out today. My Dr. has not said anything to me yet....but I am sure he will. I problem is not with my meals, I still eat very healthy, it is my new sweet tooth! I am always wanting somethig sweet after my meals! Trying to fight the craving for sweets is hard to do! Try not to stress too bad.....as long as the baby is healthy I would not worry.....you can loose the weight after the baby is born! Just try to enjoy this last little bit of pregnancy.
I think your doing fine. Just like msteri said, try eating more protein then carbs. theres more things then just meat with protein in it. I was doing very bad at first I was gaining 7 lbs every months for 3 months, then I felt disgusted with my self. I only weighed 110 lbs before I got pregnant, and was in pretty good shape, i could eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted to and never exercise and i wouldn't gain any weight. I am 31 weeks pregnant, and have gained about 24 lbs so far.(well I think I lost a lb this weeks, from being so stressed out) but I gave myself a 35 lb weight gain limit. And I try very hard to stick with it, at first it was hard cause like you said, I never felt full. So now I just eat breakfast and lunch and dinner and a bedtime snack. And try to keep busy in between so I don't snack all day. So I have 9 weeks left and and about 10 more lbs before my limit.. I hope I can do it. I dont think you should worry if its not harming your baby.
I don't have a problem keeping weight down, but I don't like to eat meat either and have been eating carbs as well. My problem is actually gaining weight and I have gained very little my entire pregnancy and have to be monitored with growth scans. I don't think you're taking a step backwards because you're at the point where you can't exercise the way you would like. If you have been eating healthy then it shouldn't be hard to get most of the weight off after the baby comes. I would just try to eat more protein and less carbs to even things out. From what I understand, this is the point in pregnancy where the baby adds on about a pound a week, so a lot of the extra pounds you'll see in the remaining weeks are all baby weight. Good luck to you.
