Update - 32 weeks!

Just wanting to check in with everyone! Not much longer to go.  Due May 1st here! We finally have a name picked out for our little princess - Addison Grace, we will call her Addy.   Had an ultrasound early this week - she is head down and ready to go and weighs 3 pounds 10 ounces already!  They said she was measuring big - so I may go early, which I am all for - she is kicking like crazy and is up in my ribs and in my hip bones all the time (sometimes at the same time, she must be long).  Nursery is still not together - we have it painted and they are supposed to be putting in new carpet next week, so then DH will just have to replace the trim (which will take a while) and then we will have to order the crib and dresser (so much to do so little time).   Work is getting tiring, but I am working full time and come home and chase around my one year old - but it is all worth it in the end! Hope everyone is doing well!  Let me know how you are doing!

On the other hand they told my friend she was only going to have a six to seven pound baby and she had a nine pound baby.  They don't really know : )

they can be off up to (i believe) a pound either way - so don't get nervous yet - they estimated my first born to be a big 8 pounder/small 9 pounder by delivery (last u/s at 38 weeks) and he weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces at birth - so they wer off on his!

Ok so now I am officially getting nervous. Seeing as your babies are measuring about the same as mine I am scared my baby is gonna be huge. I just had a ultra sound last week at 30 weeks and the baby was measuring 3lbs and 9ozs.

I am so happy that mostly everyone in this forum has had such problem free pregnancies, we are very blessed. I am not sure how big my baby is, but i have a short midsection so it feels like she is everywhere at once! can you believe we still havent named her?! I am just stuck. But I am determined to pull an all nighter if i have to here pretty soon so i can find the perfect name for her. Big sisters Taylar and Saylar are ready and waiting. and I am hoping to hold out until after this current semester is over. Hope you all continue to do well :) we have so little time left with our bellies!

I say early bub wanted out at 29 weeks thats y i had the scans and all and labour has been a weekely ocurance i have a supply of patches to apply at home to stop my contractions and i lost my plug yesterday im currently 32weeks 3 days

ammanda - I love the name Cole Patrick!  And it is very exciting to get to put the baby's room together-it makes the whold pregnancy thing seem so much more real!   And I hope your shower goes well!!   I had so much fun at mine with my first one!  We are not having one with the second one- our two are going to b less than 17 moths apart and while they are different sexes, I still don't feel comfortable having a baby shower - I just feel like people gave so much for my firstborn - I am blessed to have what I have and if people want to give a gift, they can, but this way they don't feel obligated in any way.  

Boots85 - Wow - you are eithier going to have a big baby or he/she may come early!  Hoping they come early (but not too early)   Good Luck!

Im glad to hear everything is going good with you.  Thats a really pretty name.  She sounds like she may come early lol.. Hopefully she stays in there as long as possible.  Im due May 7th so a week after you.  Im having a boy his name is Cole Patrick.  I'm also having my baby shower next sunday.  Im so excited.  And we are moving out of my moms tomorrow, so ill finally have a room to get together for the baby.  I had a 32 u/s last week and he was head down as well.  Although she didnt say how much he weighed.  I wish I knew.  but I feel you on the kicking and stuff. he has just recently started hurting my ribs.  and now he kicks so hard that it feels like someone is stabbing me from the inside.    I hope you get your nursery done soon :)
