Please help me not be such a basket case!!

Ok, just a brief history don't want to bore you guys to death! I had a beautiful daughter Lyndsie in Jan of 06 then in May of 09 I had gastric bypass and have gone from around 400 pounds to my current weight which is around 190! Anyway in Jan of this year I had a miscarriage although I believe it was a chemical pregnancy because I started bleeding 3 days after AF should have arrived. I had a normal period in Feb and concieved again I am currently due November 28, 2010 making me now 14 weeks and 4 days being that I made it through the first trimester you would think I would not worry so much but I can't stop I have been to emergency room twice just to make sure things were ok I can't hardly sleep at night because I worry about a missed miscarriage, I just can't help but think the worst because I want this sooo bad! I have no reason to worry though my dr assures me my 1st trimester screening was normal and baby has had great heartbeat ranging from the 150s to 170s! I know I will feel much better when I can feel baby move on the regular instead of little flutters every once and a while. Anyway sorry to drag on forever any advice would be appreciated except for negativity don't tell me that I'm crazy for worrying or stressing over nothing you may think it if you wish no need to post your ignorance to me Thanks in advance!

I have had 5 m/c's in a row.  I was told there was little chance to have another baby.  Now, here I am with a beautiful little girl that will be a year this month.  Every day until I felt the constant kicking I was a mess. Afraid of everything - freaking out when I woke up sleeping on my stomach, bumping my belly, etc.  Telling you to relax won't matter, but, knowing others have dealt with the same crazy thoughts helps.  I have learned to enjoy this time around a bit more.  I am 17 weeks and these 2 will be 17 months apart - crazy I know since my first 2 are 8 1/2 years apart. I love the kicks and it sets my mind at ease

Hi. I read your post about buying a Doppler . I am due in December and I purchased one last week also. It is a huge relief !!! Can you tell me though .. At 11 weeks the heartbeat was on my right side.. Like 2 inches to the right of my belly button and then yesterday (12.4 weeks) it was gone ! I found it on my right side ! This is normal right? I can also hear what sounds like faint blood flow or pulsing on the right side .. What could that be? Thanks for any info .. This is my first pregnancy and I've had brown spotting on and off and even though I'm through my first trimester I'm still a nervous wreck
thanks

i suffered 2 mc's in 2008....when i found out i was preg again i freaked out...i blocked it from my head and wouldnt allow myself to become attached...it is def hard not to worry but i then decided to buy a doppler from amazon...it cost me about $60 but is the best thing i bought....

i made it between appts by pulling out my doppler anytime i was worried...you are far enough along now that you should be able to pick up the baby's heartbeat with a doppler

i bought the sonoline B and i still pull it out when my baby isnt that active...im currenlty 23 weeks and still worrying all the time

its normal what you are going through...but 40 weeks is a long time of worrying...im just trying to control the amount of worrying and how long i worry....once i find the heartbeat i generally fine for the rest of the day

congrats and best of luck to you
