Our generation

Do you believe our generation or our children's generation will be the generation that is still alive when Christ returns? Why or why not?

Amen! & the bible doe say woe to those that have babies in the last days because it will be hard to raise them! Because of the judgement he will bring on the earth! Now that does not mean that he does not want us 2 bring children in this world he said it will be difficult!
But in my heart i do believe our generation & our childrens generation will see the return of Jesus! Reason being is because too much is going on in the middle east & it is happening @ biblical status!!

I do think that Jesus will come in my lifetime or my children's time. In one sense I want Jesus to return because I don't want to be in this world anymore with it's many problems and hate. But at the same time I want to experience what it's like to be married and have children because the Bible says these are blessings and we won't have that in heaven. I don't know if I'll have children because I really am fearful of how to bring kids up in this time, knowing that it'll get worse like April mentioned. I couldn't handle it if my child didn't share the same love I have for Jesus.

Anyways, I continue on with life and I think it's a wonderful time to be in because I'm literally living in the time the Bible warned us about. Exciting...

I think the thing I've noticed more than anything else is the immorality and how it's gotten so bad anymore. It gets worse and worse every day as our TV shows, ads, etc. push the limit more and more. It's all right there in your face. There's no shame anymore. Nothing is private or left to the imagination! Just pure raw sex, foul language, and perverted behavior. This is what I've especially noticed lately. There's no respect, no respect for each other, for women, children, teachers, police or anyone in authority. There's no manners. It's become such a "ME" generation where it's all about "ME" and my needs are all that matters. It's pretty distressing and sad to me.

Yes, love has grown cold. You see it with parents killing their children, children killing their parents.
Love of money and things more than love for each other or God.
Interest in the Occult has grown by leaps and bounds.
Natural disasters and wheather changes.

It does seem like things have gotten worse and worse, like the birth pangs Jesus talked about.

Amen Sis! I believe both generations will be around! If you look @ it events are happening too fast sis! Everyday bible prophecy is being fulfilled! Everything that Jesus said would come to pass is coming to pass! This world has waxed cold full of hatred too many gods & not enough of GOD Almighty! Our children along with us will see these things to pass to many deaths! So much violence in the world GOD said that if he doesn't speed time up even his most elite will be deceived & mankind would destroy one another! ;)
