early labor signs?

I figured since many of us are in the same boat (full term, waiting for onset of active labor) I'd see what others are experiencing.
I've had progressively stronger and more frequent contractions over the past few weeks.
Last night I started having a lot of low cramping/soreness and I cannot tell how much is related to my pubic bone pain and waht is my cervix at this point.  I'm also really feeling tired and somewhat nauseous.
My contractions are not regular enough to be in active labor yet, but this is definitely different.
I've lost my mucous plug over the past several days as well.
It's getting hard to tell the difference between late pregnancy aches and pains and early labor....and I am trying to figure out if I will be able to work my last 2 days scheduled next week or not.
37 weeks at midnight tonight so as long as she hold until then I can have my planned waterbirth :)

I'm in the same boat too. I lost my mp and had 4 days of bloody show about a week ago. This week end I've had more painless bh contractions and lower abdominal pain along with lower back pain and more bloody show.  I'm 39 weeks and 3 days now and this is my forth... I am really surprised that I'm still pregnant.
Hang in there ladies our littles ones are coming very soon and only they and God know exactly when. It's one of life's few good surprises.

At 38 weeks, I haven't lost my mp yet. I've been feeling pains along my lower abdomen, under the belly button and also some cramp-like pains in pelvic area. Also I've been feeling contractions that are not painful but it's this tugging-type feeling. I would imagine this is my body preparing for delivery, but when will it happen, who knows o_O Sorry I'm not much help.

I feel the same way. Lots of lower back pain and crampiness real low in the front. I lost my mp like a week ago last sunday and still nothing. :(

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that she holds out for the water birth!!

I have no contractions, no dilation, no pelvic pressure/pain, mucuous plug is still intact. I'm actually wondering if I may go past my due date, after spending 8 1/2 months worrying about preterm labor. So I cannot offer any advice.

From what I've read, you can lose your mucuous plug and not go into labor for weeks. But coupled with the nausea, stronger contractions, pelvic pressure and cramping...well, perhaps Lillian Faye will be arriving soon!

Be sure to keep us posted. I will be eagery awaiting your updates. Good luck!
