Uhm.. hi. I don't really know how to do this, and I'm not good at explaining my problems but I'm going to try. Uhm.. I have really bad paranoia.. and I'm also delusional. I feel like people are constantly STARING at me, even when I'm alone. I'm socially deprived. I don't have any friends in real life. I have bad trust issues. I prefer to be at home in my bed all day. I'm 20 years old and I don't have a driver's license, because I'm too scared to drive. I get scared walking through my house, especially at night.. because I'm scared I'll get attacked or something. I also have alot of emotional problems.. or I'll just get annoyed about something. Uhm.. there's alot more I could say but I'm stopping here. Someone just please message me or something.

Hi Zombie,

I'm going to guess that a lot of your paranoia and emotional issues have come from something that has happened in your past. Never feel ashamed to admit it; I understand it can be very traumatizing things that have led you to be where you are in life.

I'm sure you're going to roll your eyes, but have you thought of seeing a doctor about this? There are forms of therapy that can help you get past some of the feelings you are experiencing. One that may be recommended is a health care professional that uses cognitive behavioural therapy. In this therapy, they may use techniques such as exposure therapy. You should research these and let me know what you think.

Youve made the best step so far in coming on here and asking for help.

Well.. I had a pretty good childhood.. But there are a few things that could have caused this I guess. Yeah, people are trying to get me to get help.. But I'm scared and I feel like something is holding me back. I've also been told I'm really delusional.

I researched exposure therapy.. and well, nothing specifically traumatizing has happened to me, and I'm not scared of any specific thing. Idk really know how to explain it.

I've just sort of gotten like this over time.

What do you feel is holding you back?

And by delusional, do you mean you're not aware of what is real and what isn't?

Hi!  I'm fairly new here.
First a bit about myself. Please bear with me.
At the age of 10, I had a  fear of dying, experiencing often some very sharp chest and back pains .
I remember not wanting to fall asleep, in case the pain would come to me as I was sleeping, and I would die without being able to do anything. I had nobody to talk about it, since my dad had to work in another country far away and my mom sick, depressed and with a baby and a toddler at home. And I was kinda given the role of the male in charge of many matters! It was a tough job for a 10 year old.
One day during a pain attack and much fear I started crying. My mom noticed, so I told her about my pains, but not the fears. She gave me some money and asked me to go to the cardiologist to get my heart checked, just in case.

At the office the Dr. asked me where my parents were. I explained our situation.
He checked me over and determined that my heart was healthy. As I discovered later, he was also a psychologist. My pains, he said, where from stress ( I didn't know what stress meant then) and my fears where justified due to the intensity of the pains.
Instead of medication he offered a list of Holistic things to do such as exercises, breathing techniques and  some written material  he handed to me. And at no charge!
It not only that worked but it got me interested in Holistic Health and Psychology.

Those years this field of study was reserved for rich peoples' kids only.
The scholarship I was offered was for a business program. And I took it.
Three decades later (after losing faith in our medical system) I immersed myself in Holistic Heath, Energy Medicine and Psychotherapy studies. My health presently - physical, mental and emotional - has never been better. And I'm able to help other people a lot.
I believe in good karma. So here I am!
Please read my reply to "Therapy Trouble", Dec.29th. Some things may apply to you.

Just remember this : There's an area where you have no control in your life and another area that you do!  Both areas can be improved and corrected with the right kind of approach and help.
For starters you would probably want to clear some foods or drinks that may be contributing to your physical or emotional issues. I've come across some nasty situations triggered by  an unknown allergy to an innocent food (usually).
If you're up to it consider the Pulse Test by Dr. Coca. There's a free download.
It takes a week of monitoring your food intake and taking your pulse at various times.
Just needs a little patience.

I don't know if your belief system allows past life regression.
It is something that I intuit as important for you to explore. When things in our lives have no satisfactory explanation at our present field of being and understanding, then we must search at another level. You have a purpose in this life, and your suffering has a significant connection to that purpose. It is the lessons we learn from suffering that show us the path to the purpose.
Past lives, many times shed some light into our present life, revealing clues to help us move on, and fulfill what we must do here.
All this may sound a little murky, if you're not into these concepts, but give it some thought, maybe do some research.
Have you read the book "Many lives, many Masters" by Dr.Brian Weiss? It has to do with past lives. True story.
If your library has it, consider reading it. I personally found it fascinating.

Till my next post, ( I hope I didn't tire you)

Blessings to all,
Nikodicreta
