Wednesday Weeklies (for the remaining few)

OB and NST today. The NST went well, as usual (thank God). Baby is quite happy just hanging out. OB said I might be 2cm dilated...or not, my cervix is positioned in way that it may just appear to be slightly dilated. No effacement. She is not giving up hope that I will deliver by my due date (Saturday). Wish I could say the same for myself! I asked what I could do to gently encourage labor. She recommended evening primrose oil, castor oil and lots of sex. So basically, I'm going to be a greasy **** for the next few days :)

How's everyone else doing? I think Bigadiva was  supposed to be induced yesterday. And Happynifer was going in and out of labor. Dropping like flies; yippee!

BABY UPDATE: Blood pressure was perfect, MarLea's heart rate 144, No sugar/proteins, baby is head down and in the pelivs but not fully ingaged, 0 dilation and the cervix is still thick- AS I'VE SAID BEFORE I'M NOT HAVING A CHRISTMAS BABY.. Mommy is getting her wish this year!!

Well yesterday was my birthday and no baby like everyone thought had a very awesome day though. I was very suprised that Aiden's daddy gave me an engagment ring and that he was able to hold off to do it so yesterday my day was just as best as it could be. I have my doc apt today at 2 to discuss induction not sure if he is going to send us right over to the hospitial or have us go back tonight but looks like it the next day or so our little boy will be here. Now that I know that i am very nervous and getting more and more scared YIKES this is so getting real if for some reason he decides to wait I will update you when i get back if not as soon as he comes and i get the chance Ill update and upload pics. good luck girls thoughts with you

I am here still- but have another 7days till my actuak due date 12/30. I think I've had BH, but really no contractions.. I may just have to be "greasy" as well next week to get her moving. My midwife doesnt check dilation unless asked and well- since I would like to have her next weekend and not this weekend for Christmas.. I am okay waiting to ask for them to check on my 40 week appointment. I feel like a part of me needs to know, since with my son my prior Dr checked every week, then induced at 40w 6d. He still didnt want to come out then and I didnt have contractions until pitocin was added =(

I really hope MarLea decides otherwise... but if not I will have to revert in having a c-section in January. It works for my PTO and deductable for Insurance- but that still is another 2 weeks of hip pains and pressure. I really badly want to have a VBAC and at least experience one of my children naturally.

I will be going to the midwife tomorrow- but will come back and update what I am told. Wish me luck!!

still here unfortunately and still in and out of labor.....
at my appointment today i am 2cm dilated, 75% effaced and -2 station (same as tuesday morning when they sent me home)
first post date ultrasound scheduled for wed 12/29, but really hoping to get to cancel that one.
NST tuesday morning prior to discharge was perfect.
