Particularly, 2 hours per week a session
Can you generate further by what you mean "avoid wind due to well or ill wind"? It's just that I'm worried when you finish acupuncture sessions and you step outdoors right away, wind blowing into your body is an incurable condition when you're older.
Are there also any side effects or long-term side effects if acupuncture needle is inserted into your body and treat symptoms for about 2 hours long? What about overdosing it to 3 hrs?
Thank you for your question. I have been practicing acupuncture for 18 years and have experienced just about every effect from treatments. During treatments an area may become a little tender when this happens I will choose another point for the next treatment. This effect is short lived and in my experience has never lasted long term. As far as wind is concerned we say in TCM that patients should avoid wind when they are well or ill wind is the mother of many conditions. Persistent bone and tissue pain may be from a variety of reasons most commonly QI and Blood stagnation or poor nerve and blood flow.
Hope this helps
