Yes, we need to think of ideas to get our ladies back. We're giving Lexi one to two solid meals a day followed up with a bottle. The wic lady said I needed to replace her bottle with a sippy cup of water when I feed her solids and that we need to replace a bottle with solids. Idk...I just feel like we're not ready to do this. Maybe I'm just not ready. Either way, she gets cereal with a fruit mixed in for breakfast/lunch and then we give her a veggie and fruit for dinner. She won't eat her veggies unless she has a fruit, and even then it's a nightmare!
I've been checking his forum off and on but there doesn't seem to be much activity, I too miss hearing baby updates!
Iris is doing well. She's a week shy of 6 months and is 15 and 1/2 lbs (if my measurement is correct). She can roll over, mostly from tummy to back but doesn't seem very interested in it. She's started scooting backwards too and loves her jumparoo. She can't sit on her own very well yet. Mostly she leans forward, then tries to push herself back to a more upright sitting position, and then looses her balance and topples to the side :)
I'm also still breasfeeding. My plan was to keep it up for at least 6 months but it looks like I've been able to maintain my supply (knock on wood) and will continue on for a few more months. We introduced pureed bananas and carrots because she seems ready and interested, but Iris wasn't particularly enthusiastic about either. I'll keep trying different things until she decides she likes it :)
lillian is doing very well and is 5 months old today. still exclusively breastfeeding and she is growing like a weed (still off the charts at her 4 month check up)
babbling like crazy and scoots around (backwards) she can roll but doesn't do it often
loves her jumper and sat up on her own for the first time this week.
we will be starting baby led solids next month which should be fun for all :)
still sleeps with us but generally only gets up once at night for a snack
still full yime in cloth diapers and loving it
i'm down to 9 lbs left to lose (gained 70) and ran a half marathon earlier this month. i'm also donating my extra milk to a local mom who doesn't make enough for her baby.
been back to work since she was 4 weeks old, so we are in a good routune
hope everyone is well!
