Maternity Leave

Was just wondering when everyone is planning on leaving for maternity from their jobs. Everyone keeps asking me when I will be done work but I have no idea, and my doctor is not giving me a straight answer. I am hoping sooner then later so I can start nesting and getting the home ready for our little miracle. I'm 27 weeks pregnant btw, due Oct. 21

this pregnancy is our second one. having done it once the first time around... i plan on working right up to (or close enough to) the due date. my last day of work would probably be a day or two before the baby comes out. with our first one, i took off 2 weeks before the due date and with the baby being late, it ended up being 3 weeks. that was just way too long to sit around and wait. everyone's different, so i guess it all depends on how you feel. i still feel great, so i really do believe i can hang on until the very end. :)

I am going off if everything goes smoothly just about 37 weeks.  I am taking 2 weeks vacation leading in a 12 month maternity leave that will technically start mid october..
