Is it normal to have dull period like cramping feeling?

I'm 33 weeks and the past few days I've been feeling a dull period like cramping feeling. I notice it often but it never amounts to anything else. It feels like right before you would get your period and you would go to the toilet expecting to see blood if that makes sense. I feel it at all times during the day and night. I could just be laying in bed and feel it or I could be on my feet for a while and feel it so I don't think it's from anything I'm doing physically.
So anyone else feel this?

petite wonder, i totally know what you mean about your hips hurting at night and having to constantly switch sides and roll over, isint it the most annoying thing, haha. i also get period like cramps just like you guys comes and goes, some days stronger then others. I really hope i go into labor at 38 39 weeks that would be great!!!

yeah I have it as well...  it comes and goes... sometimes can be pretty bad for me... I find alot of the time, it is triggered by me rotating sides in the night.. i joked with my husband the other night that sometimes i think the baby has a cramp mommy button when I do something she doesnt like.. seems like everytime i roll over (but i have to because my hips start to hurt), the baby wakes up and starts moving for a bit...  I have it other times but its pretty random..

i know menstrual like cramps can be a sign of preterm labor so i would mention it to your OB at your next appointment but most likely its nothing, when I was in the hospital, i had it off and on then too and the nurses usually just made note of it and i didnt progress at all over that week.... now 3 weeks later, im still showing very little cervical change and i definitely have dull menstrual like cramps off and on

I get it too, as ling as you don't notice a pattern to the cramping it's ok. Just your body getting ready and adjusting to the baby getting heavier and moving lower into the pelvis.
