Wow, thats so awesome! The twins are still in cribs, but the mattress is as lows it can get due to them both standing up in the cribs and I've caught Carly a few times making the climbing motion!
It is, sadly, another sign our babies aren't infants. They're well on their way into toddler hood!
I have a king size bed makes it more comfy. Last night it was me, Lauren, and my middle son. Hubby don't care if all the kids are in there since he's not home at night or much at all for that matter. When he is home it don't bother him either.
ya i need a kings size... i have Ezra and my autistic son in the bed basically every night... hubby doesnt like it but i do so what i say goes lol
Lol same here. My husband wants Ellie out but she's still here. I said buy a king size bed (we have a queen too) but he said no. Boo men are no fun
lol I would love my kids to sleep in with me because then I would know they were safe. My hubby on the other hand HATES it. We only have a queen size bed and I tried to encourage my hubby to buy a bigger bed and he said no way because then the kids will sleep with us :) In all honesty in a normal 7 day week we probably have at least one child in bed with us 4 nights a week lol
I'd keep Ellie in bed in our room forever if I could :)
I can't really speak I had my first in our bed for the first year and even when he had his big bed he still came and jumped in bed with us :)
I would keep Annabelle in a bassinet in my room forever if I thought I could get away with it. Ha! We have to lower her crib mattress this weekend since she's pulling up on the bed. Boo!
What a big girl!! They grow up so fast
I don't know if I am doing it wrong but in all honesty I don't see the point in keeping them in a cot. Ella's bed has a frame around the whole thing apart from one little spot where the ladder would be. I think I am more cautious with Ella because with my other two they only had one barrier that went across part of their bed and not the whole thing.
In all honesty what's the point in keeping them in a cot if they can walk and climb when they can adjust to a bed earlier???? My only fear is cot death and if that happened I would be absolutely devestated but then I think how different would being in a bed be to being in a cot. Ella sleeps with her normal cot blankets and even then she sleeps on top of them. I don't know i guess you do what is right for yourself and only yourself. It would be easier if I kept her in a cot because she wouldn't be able to walk out but it's only taken a week to get her to sleep in it without coming out and that has been fantastic!!!!
wow they have really good motor skills!!!! it give me second thoughts on when to change ezra to his bed... maybe sooner than i was thinking...
I have put all of my kids in big beds between 10months and a year old. As soon as my kids can get up and down the couch or bed I move them. My kiddies moved so much they kept hitting their heads on the cot and if I didn't they would probably be climbing out of them by 1 and falling on the ground.
On my second daughter's first birthday she was climbing up the ladder of their swingset to go down the slide by herself. My kiddies are way too mobile too soon :) that and I couldn't wait to get rid of that part of my life!!!!
wow you already got her in a big bed!! i didnt do that until my others were 2....thats awesome that she is doing good with it
I know but in saying that I couldn't wait to get the cot out oy my son's room lol. She's my last baby and I am going to cherish every last minute :) except her sleeping in a cot lol
Awwwe makes ya kinda sad they r growing so fast!
