Lexi hasn't had her well check yet because she had a seizure on her birthday, so we pushed it back until the 10th of this month after she visits the neurologist. Her EEG came back totally normal, and we're very grateful for that.
At the follow up appointment a few days after her birthday she weighed 20 pounds and 2 ounces and was 30.5" long.
She's walking now and waves "Hi" and says Hi. She babbles nonstop and is constantly on the go. Her favorite toys are her elephant rocker, the twirlin' tumbler, Mega bloks, her little people's doll house, and a plain old bouncy ball. She will sit for hours and roll the ball back and forth to you and clap her hands.
She's weaned from the bottle and takes milk in her sippy. She's also eating mainly regular food, with the occasional baby food that I still give her. She loves yogurt, tomatoes, zucchini, chicken, and basically anything else. She hates pancakes and hamburger meat, which may be unamerican. Haha!
We may transition her to her toddler bed in March and we're trying to get rid of the pacifier, but it's slow going. When I weaned her from the bottle she went cold turkey. She was just ready to give it up and drink milk. I'm just ready for her to deicde she doesn't want the pacifier.
Hope all is well! How are our other little December babies?
