Do you think it's to early to induce?

I am 37 weeks and 2 days and having the WORSE pregnancy ever!!! I have the worse non supportive husband who does not pamper me at all and I am in so much pain that I can barely walk to the bathroom. I stay home everyday and just rest  because I can't get around anymore besides to go downstairs and cook and clean and forced to do house choirs because no one else will do it. I am now considered full term so I am wondering if I should wait till next week or is it safe to induce naturally to get things moving along. I had my other kids at 38 weeks and they were healthy but concerned that the babies lungs won't be as strong this week as they will be next week. I am so depressed and hurt of all the bad that I have experienced this pregnancy and will never have another baby after this one. My view is that it is better for the baby to be outside of my emotional baby that I feeding her all these depressive hormones.

Same here, I am in uk and midwife won't check me or a do a sweep until I am a week overdue! Quite disheartening as my other 3 kids were all overdue and I was induced with them. Would like to go on my own this time. Best of luck to you too!

I had my doctor's appointment today and the doctor said he won't do anything to induce until 39 weeks and wouldn't even check me to see if I had any progress going on in fear that it will trigger things along. So me and husband walked all day today and went to every store I could to stay on my feet. Now I think I am starting to feel cramping and maybe my day out might have kicked started things but will have to see in a few if anything will progress. Best of luck with you over the next few weeks.

Hi, well I am 37 weeks tomorrow and will 100% start taking the maximum dose of raspberry leaf tablets (6 a day) that is allowed. If your baby came naturally now chances are as long as the birth went well, you would be sent home in a few hours, as she would be a decent weight and lungs are considered fully developed, I'd say give it a shot and see what happens, if baby isn't ready to come yet...she won't! it's especially tough at the end once ou have other kids (I have 3 already myself), I'm quite independent too and sometimes find myself doing things I shouldn't be instead of asking or help.
Good luck, who knows whatever you try may just be enough to bring on labour!
