I've never been opposed to people using inversion tables. They can be beneficial in some cases.
I have personal experience using a pretty good one from Amazon. It's reasonably priced and very sturdy. Just be careful that you observe the weight limitations if you buy one.

What about an inversion table? Help or hurt?
To some degree, doctors can point out areas of arthritic degeneration on many peoples' spines... Largely due to the fact that so many patients neglect their spinal health for so long.
Chiropractic care can't reverse your arthritis, but adjustments can help ease pain associated with muscle tension, tissue inflammation, swelling, and spinal misalignment.
It would be more about quality of life than "treatment" of your condition.
