Im 47 and an utrasound has found " left ovary is substantially replaced by a 6cm large, solid, heterogenously slightly hyperechoic mass without obvious foci of calcuim or bone. Loculated fluid collections on the ovarian surface are probably rather large and somewhat deformed but otherwise normal ovarian follicles. Normal venous and arterial waveforms are seen within this structure. The uterus and righ ovary are surgically absent. No other abnomaties are seen".
I am a healty person who has only been in hosiptaI for giving birth. Up to the day the mass started to cause pain, I was working out daily and training for an indoor sprint triathalon.
Lab work came back with red blood count low at 4.07 M/CMM and Testing performed on coulter LH 750 showed MCV 101 which is high (range 81-98) Gyn did't tell me what that meant. Anyone know? CA 125 was 8.3 he said it doesn't matter because I'm pre menopausal the ca-125 isn't going to be accurate.
I was refered to a gyn/oncologist who is going to try and get mass out using Di Vinci on Nov 28th He said no guarantee based on what he finds from the mass, husband saw concern on Dr's face when he found ovary higher up than where it normally should be. He said its going to be real good or real bad. I'm staying positive for my teen age boys, but inside I'm a wreck. Any one who can offer any insight I would appreciate your comments and prayers at this time too!
