BABY TOO BIG????
I am 38 weeks + 3 days. I went and saw the doctor and he is talking about inducing me right after my due date. He says he is worried that if we wait much longer the baby is going to get to big. I haven't had an u/s since i found out gender but my measurements they took yesterday over my tummy is over a cm bigger than i am suppose to. Her head has dropped into my pelvis (i can tell because i cqn feel it) her butt is all the way into the top of my ribs on the right side. Her feet kick my ribs and her hand jab at my hips. This wasnt a concern with my first. Does it sound like she is going to be a big baby?Anubody else been told this? My doctor doesnt want me going past 41 weeks. I always thought it was best to wait. Is this a legitimate concern? Should u go ahead and let him induce me or should i wait? Sorry it was so long
I don't think you have much to worry about. I was measuring 3 weeks ahead with my all my kids and they were all born under 8lbs. Babies position can play a factor on your fundal height. If you're that concerned about size i would ask your Dr to do an ultrasound
