Is it weird that my dr has been stopping all my contractions? Im 37weeks pregnant and i have been contracting alot but every time i go to the hospital my dr gives me meds to stop them. Is this normal.
Since pregnancy goes until 40 weeks, you should definitely be in the clear to have the baby. It is very weird.
Have you talked to him about it? If you're having contractions, then he should prep you for birth. Not tell you to go home. The baby is perfectly fine to come out, now.
Maybe he wants to wait until 40 weeks?
You can always tell him you just want to have the baby now, no exceptions, see what he says.

It is weird after 37 weeks ??? But I could understand if u were 34 maybe he jistvwants the baby to stay so he can be stronger ...
That is a little strange but I guess each doctor is different... I thought that they wouldn't stop labor/contractions after 37 weeks.
