Wife needs help

Hello, my wife is having some difficulty during sex. She says it stings the walls of her vagina for a while afterwards and during, and there is lots of pressure on her lower stomach.  We have been having this trouble for a few months now. We thought it was a yeast infection, tried Monistat, that helped for a small amount of time, but it came back fast. She hates the doctor, and practically refuses to go. What could this be, and how can we treat it?

This may still be yeast infection. But you both need to be treated simultaneously otherwise you just pass it back and forth.. Canestine vaginal preparation is as good as any.
