Hello Jo,
Well, the symptoms you are describing sound very familiar.
I have been suffering from the same problem, however I have had a check up by the doctors and the strange thing is that they believe everything to be normal. But I know it does not feel that way.
Leave your e-mail on the forum board if you would like to chat further on this horrible problem.
I know it would feel better for me if I could share this problem with someone who knows how I feel.
I am 22 yrs old, so your story is very familiar to mine.!!
The fact that you have CHD,and thus have a form of structural heart disease, makes things a little different. The PVCs could be a result of the strain on your heart placed by the pulmonic stenosis. However, this in itself would not be an indication for repair. If the stenosis is severe enough or starts to lead to problems with your right ventricle, you will need the valve to be fixed for those reasons.
i have that too. i have CHD (pulmonary stenosis).
however, i've been getting the same hard beats only lately (1.5yrs) -i hear my heart CONSTANTLY, and its coupled w/pvs- so i am very bothered by it.
Question: does the fact i havent been getting them before mean my heart worsened?
my Ef is 44% but my cardiologist says its not a problem for me.
If you have not already had a check-up by your doctor, you should. Certain valve leakage disorders can lead to this sensation, and would likely lead to a murmur that your doctor could hear.
