sweep can u ask??
Can you ask for a sweep? Iv read with your second baby they don't do it till 41 weeks and I'm 40+3 but my midwife is only available Thursday and Fridays I have an appointment today and hoping she will offer but if not I have to wait till next week 41+4 but il be getting induced the day after so seems a bit pointless? Would love one today as partners birthday is Saturday and hoping our son might come for then lol
Just a follow up... My doctor attempted a sweep on my due date and was not able to sweep bc I wasn't dilated enough. She told me to start taking evening primrose oil and red raspberry leaf. 3 days later she was able to do a full sweep. That evening I began taking the evening primrose oil capsules vaginally and the very next day I lost my plug. I think it is far more effective vaginally. I go for another sweep Monday morning. I will be 41 weeks on Tuesday... Praying labor starts soon!!! Come on baby!!
