I am a 46 years old male, quite fit.
I have had some back and feet pain in the past, I have mild scoliosis since a child, nothing severe, so I began to go to a chiropractic once in a while for the last 3 years and began also to wear custom made orthotics and very confortable shoes.
I exercise sort of quite regularly, I am not a gym freak but I bike, swim, walk and lift light weights.
Since 5-6 months I began to feel stronger and stronger pain in my feet, my heels, my arch, my metatarsus, a bit my ankles, and slowly also my knees have become VERY sore, if I bend them too much (let's say if I sit on my heels) the pain is really strong when bending and when extending.
Every morning when I get up from the bed, the first steps are really VERY painful for my feet, and also if I sit even for a little time, my feet AND knees are very sore after I stand up, especially for the first couple of minutes.
Especially my right heel for the past 2-3 weeks is very painful if I touch it or when I walk on hard surface (which of course I try to avoid completely).
Five days ago suddendly without any apparent reason I had a tremendous shooting pain inside my right knee which lasted a good 3-4 minutes, slowly went away but left me sore and quite scared...
I have been living with this constant pain for the last 3 months now every single day, and doesn't go away ever.
Of course if I am sitted or standing and still it doesn't hurt, unless I bend my knees too much or arch my feet.
I keep biking and stretching almost everyday, that doesn't hurt at all when I do it.
I don't have Health insurance, but of course I want to take care of this problem somehow, I am beginning to be quite worried.
I did a complete blood test 3 months ago and everything is ok. I didn't do any specific test for rheumas or anything like that though.
Please please HELP!
Stefano, a man in constant pain.
