Planned csection at 38 weeks due to gestational diabetes

Anyone else in this same situation ? I am really worried that 38 weeks is too early . Please share your experiences

I just delivered my baby at 36w5d due to pre-eclampsia and he was perfectly healthy 6 lbs 9oz. You will do great!

Mine even with gd refuses to take baby til 39 weeks. I don't have high bo, which will change things. I even asked if my ultrasound shows a huge baby would it change anything and she said no..I just have extra fluid.

I'm also 37wks1d and Dr wanna put me in next week when I turn 38wks due to diabetes and high blood pressure I hope I have her on my own tho so Good Luck

I have diabetes too and am scheduled for an induction next Friday.  I'm 37 weeks now and they'll do a membrane sweep tomorrow to try get it started naturally to avoid the induction altogether.
It's not too early- baby will be fine
