I see a psychiatrist and am on multiple medications(GeneralizedAnxietyDisorder and Bipolar2). My psychiatrist has me get a blood work up every year and calls me if he sees something that is not normal. I don’t go to a GP, and just forget about it since he never calls me. I had a work up done in November and never looked at results and today I was looking at them online out of curiosity. My glucose levels are as follows over last few years. 2019 - 118, 2020 - 119, and Nov 2021 - 132.
My question is should I see a Doctor about the numbers since they are above the normal and have gotten higher this year? My mother has Type 2 Diabetes.
I would rather not go to the Doctor unless it is recommended, but I saw articles about pre-diabetes and was slightly concerned.
