what is this rash?

I have all the same symptoms as these other people have.  Severly itchy rash that comes seems to go away and then comes back again.  Always in the same spots, small of back, chest area, under boobs, and up onto neck.  Seen several doctors in the past 8 months and no one can tell me what I have.  At the same time this rash appeared so did psorisis on my scalp.  The look like two different things but seem to progress at the same time.  Help!

This discussion is related to itchy rash on chest, stomach, breast has been spreading.

Hi,

You have been previously diagnosed with psoriasis. Are these itchy rash similar in presentation to the lesions of your psoriasis?

One differential for this will be seborrheic dermatitis. Also, this may be an atypical
presentations of psoriatic lesions. I suggest that you have this assessed by your physician. Seborrheic dermatitis may require frequent shampooing and washing of
affected parts of the body.It usually presents in the chest, the scalp and the face. Psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis may sometimes be hard to distinguish fom each other.

A consult with your primary physician may be able to help. Psoriasis may present atypically as nonscaly reddish bumps that may appear like rash.
