You said that you were put on the pills to regulate your cycle, so why is it that shocking to still be a little irregular?  If the last time you had sex was 2 months ago and you got a period sense then, chances are that you aren't pregnant.

The others are right, you need to find a way to remember that pill EVERY day at the Same Time Every Day or the effectiveness of the pill takes a nose dive.  Missing pills and taking 2 the next day makes a lot of women feel nausea, headaches and mood swings.  Especially if you haven't been on the pills that long.  it is also possible that you need a lower or higher dose of birth control.
hope this helps.

These could be common symptoms of your body regulating your birth control into your system.

It is EXTREMELY important to take your pill each and every day.  Maybe you could purchase a watch with an alarm reminder, or you could even set your cell phone to remind you each day.  Not taking your pills daily can throw your system out of wack.  You could skip periods, or you could experience two periods in one month.

Get yourself on a schedule.  =)
