ok so what week are you and how much have you gained so far

I'm 24.3 weeks and if my MIL's scales are right I've gained 16 lbs but at my last appt 3 weeks ago I'd only gained 8 so if that's true I've gained 8 lbs in 3 weeks

wow - I was up to 17 pounds at 28 weeks and the doctor was like you know you have 3 more months to go so be careful.  I am not a big person either so I was surprised she said that.  The first doctor I saw said they wanted me to gain at least 30 pounds and now this new doctor is saying lets try to stay under 30...  So confusing.  I gained just about 30 pounds with my son that all but about 5 pounds came off within the first 6 weeks, so I am not to worried.

Blue eyed - dont worry about the weight gain i lost 5lbs in a week then gained 3 then 2 the following. I fluctuate at the moment between 9 stone 13lbs and 10stone 2 lbs. I think it depends on water retention.

Im 29 weeks and have gained 23lbs so far. Im not really worried as its all bump x

I am 30 weeks and have gained 5 lbs so far...
with both my other pregnancies, I gained 38lbs in total. (38lbs each pregnancy) so needless to say I'm freakin stoked that I haven't gained a ton of weight this time! :):)

i had an appointment yesterday an i have now put on 10kg which is 22 pounds lol and i am at 25 weeks and 6 days.
the doctor wasnt concerned but that's alot of weight if you ask me!

New update.... I just got back from seeing the general surgeon today and I have lost another 2 lbs!! WTF?? I dont know what the deal is:( Im 25.6 weeks today and my last appointment was one week ago. I have a total of 5 lbs now:( I hope my baby is getting some weight in there........

LOL I'm 26.2 weeks now and up 16 lbs....but still not shabby with twins

At 24 weeks I had gained 14 pounds. (My dr said that is normal) I'm 27 weeks now and it looks like according to my scale I've gained about 6 pounds in the past 3 weeks! My good friend is due in July 2008 and she said she had one month where her weight spiked real high and then it went back to 2-4 pounds the month after that. She didn't change any eating habits, I guess she just retained more of it that month. Hopefully that will be the case for me. With my first son, I gained a total of 44 pounds...mostly belly, but it didn't come off like I thought it would. What scares me is that I really packed it on in the end of my first pregnancy so I know there is much more weight to be gained.

thanks, funny how with my first 2 kids I never had a problem gainiing weight. Heck I put on 15 lbs in the first trimester!! So im happy with gaining a pound a weeks:)

So I just had my appointment today and I have gained 6 lbs in 6 weeks!! Im up to 7 lbs total now!!!!! Im 24.5 weeks today:)

14 lbs is good I actually think I'm not gaining as much as I should with twins.....but my babies are healthy so I can't as for much more.

ok well I got the official count from my OB last night as I've gained a total of 13lbs now.....and I'm 24.6 weeks......but he said that was ok cause 4lbs of that is the babies plus about 4lbs a piece of water weight so that makes 12 lbs meaning I've gained 1 lb to much LOL.....oh well

I am 24 weeks 4 days and have gained 21 lbs. Pre pregnancy i was 117 lbs and im now 138 lbs!! Eeeek!! (8 stone 5 to 9 stone 13!!)

Im not too worried as im still in my pre-pregnancy jeans and its all gone to bump. Im having a little girl and am carrying what resembles a football really low on my front.

Ive been diagnosed with PSD so am banned from doing exercise until shes born so im guessing im gonna balloon hehe

i am 25 weeks 3 days..and i have gained 25 pounds:-(

My doctor told me not to worry.. bc i was small to begin with. she thinks i will have gained 45-50 total. I have only been gaining 3-5 pounds per visit..so i guess if i go over that im going to worry!

Before i was preggo i ran and worked out alot! since being preggo..i have stopped. that may be a reason too. these past couple of weeks i have started to walk after dinner and i think i may join a yoga class for pregnant woman.

Since my last appointment 5 weeks ago( I forgot I didnt make my next appointment, UGH!)  I have only gained one pound/  I took my grandmother to the doctors on Tues and used the scale they have there and I have put on another 3 lbs....so 4 lbs for me so far. I am 24 weeks today. With my last 2 pregnancys I put on over 15 lbs each just in the first trimester!! My next appointment is next Tuesday so we'll see but I think I might be up to at least 5lbs:) Its a good thing I put on 25lbs before I got pregnant this time around...the baby has a lot of fat to feed from, lol!!!

I think 10-20 lbs is normal for a singleton I think I'm actually under gaining for twins....so don't feel bad BizBiz

I actually asked my OB for the first time at my last appointment how much I'd gained. It was last week (22w4d) and I had gained 10 pounds. He was happy with that and so was I until I read all your posts - your having twins and I'm only a few pounds behind you!!??

Pre pregger 108, 5'4", 24+ week now and gained 20lb.  Gained 28 with my first.  Ugh, 16 more weeks to go.
