Afternoon Ladys!
So i went to see the midwife today and got a bit of a shock! Was told that even tho im 34 weeks im measuring 36 and my little man now weighs 8lbs already and is head down!!! So im going for a review at 36 weeks and being sent for a scan and depending on his size i will be either induced or sent for a c- section the same week!!!! I think im still in shock about his size as i thaught he was about 5 lbs but i was sooo wrong!! Am a tad freaked as i now know im gonna have him here in the next 2-3 weeks!!!! Help!!!!

Good luck (you'll need it LOL..) I'm only kidding. anyway if you've heard the saying " it,s easier when they are bigger" you should be fine, so dont worry it will be all worth while soon when you are holding your little one. My son was 8lb 3oz.
hey i just wanted to you know that sometimes they can be wrong when they come down to weight...my sister in law was told she was gonna have like an 9 lbs baby and she bought all these big outfits for her to wear while in the hospital...come birth day and my neice only weighted like 6 lbs 12 oz and all the oufits were huge on here...i ended up going out and buying a preemie outfit so she can at least have some decent pics! so just relax dont be scared everything is going to be just fine!

Hey there, and thanks for the wishes of luck im gonna need it!!! Dont have any diabetes just have a partner who is 6 ft 8 inches tall so my little man was never gonna be too small lol!! am now just keeping fingers crossed that he slows down on the growing side tho i very much doubt it as i would like to try and give birth naturally but i get the feeling its gonna be a c section! As for the hospital bag, its packed and ready for the off!!!
Wow!! Scary yet exciting all at the same time!!! Hope everything goes well for you!!! 8lbs!! My biggest baby so far has only been 7!!! I wish you luck!!!

At least he's a healthy size and you have some kind of end in site. Do you have gestational diabetes? Is there a reason they think he's measuring so big so early. Well if you insist on having a vaginal birth be sure and let them know so they can bring you in for that induction right away, b/c the longer he stays in there the more pounds he's going to put on! Get that bag ready lady! Good luck, and keep us updated!
