How time flies..

Hi girls.. just checking in to say hello and see how the April mommies are doing. As for myself.. I am great I had to have gallbladder surgery last week so I have been recovering from that as well as the c-setion from the baby. I cannot even believe my baby boy is a month old already. Ok so he had a dr. appt ysterday he was 8 lbs exactly @ birth and got weighed yesterday and my munchkin is 11 lb 12 oz. I cannot even believe how big he is getting but hes so adorable chubby and all.

So are any of you ladies planning on going back to work? I wish I was able to be a stay @ home mom but I want to give my baby boy the world and do so gotta have 2 incomes. I am fortunate enough to own the company but will be having my best friends mom watch him, she owns her own daycare but as th day approaches its going to be so hard to leave him.. but I know if I need him with me @ work well he will just have to come !!

Ok so just wanted say hello ad wish you all the best !!!

I love hearing how your lil guy is doing.  It is wonderful that we are able to bond with our babies like this.  I think Ava is approaching the 8 pound mark now!!  Woohooooooooo!!  She may even be bigger than that.  She is a pro at nursing too.

Hey, how is your weight dropping?  Surprisingly I am almost back to were I started... but I still want to drop atleast 5 more pounds.  =)  I am ready to start my summer exercise plan.  A little power walking, mixed with a little jogging.  I guess I need to talk to my doctor about running right now.. it still may be a little too soon.

I am healing great too!  I am on a BC that is safe for breastfeeding.  I still have not gotten a period, and my doctor says it may be 6 or 7 months before I get one.  In my BC pack I do not have the green or blue sugar pills, so I do not know when I SHOULD start.  She said that breastfeeding is a great form of BC... but I can't trust that because my mom got pregnant with my little sister while breastfeeding my little brother.  lol

Hey girls!! Glad you both are well and glad to hear your little ones are well! My lil guy is  6 weeks today and was 8lbs 4oz at birth and now he is 11lbs 2 oz. All on breast milk! (which by the way is going wonderful now!!) =) He is a pro. My lil guy loves one kind of paci....I believe it's advent brand. I also have soothies...he uses that from time to time. but loves his advent one! We are still trying to get use to the swing and he seems almost too big or maybe just too long for his papasan seat....so he now has a bouncer seat which he loves. I'm sure he'll be bouncing himself soon in it. =)

I am completely healed and feel like a new woman now!! =) How are you both feeling these days??

Hey!  Glad to hear he's doing so well and gaining weight like he should.  Ava has her one month check up on June 3rd, I really wanted to do it tomorrow, since technically she will be a month old then, but I couldn't get an appointment.  I suspect she is well over 7 lbs now.  YAY!!  Honestly, I think they misjudged her gestation a little.  I think she was a week off, with her being the length and weight she was it makes me wonder.

My little munchkin is pouting at me right now, she has dropped her paci, and the swing is slowing down.  =)  Is your little one taking a paci?  If so, what type do you use?

Are you breastfeeding??
