Where are other September mumies? whats the update?

Hi Everyone, so I hear at least half of you have already delivered your babies... congratulations to you if you have but where are others Sep mumies? it has been very quiet over the past few days!!! does this mean everyone is at the hospital delivering or about to deliver? Whats your update? As for me when my baby was measured at 37 weeks, he measured big 4kg+ so i was given a checkup at 39 weeks to decide if thy need to consider induction or c-section, but the consultant told me that if by my next check up 23/09 at 39 weeks i have not gone into labour yet nor the babies' head is engaged then they will be considering c-section. Up until today the head is still not engaged.. so it seems like a c-section next week to me... will keep  you posted..

hey ladies.... im 40 weeks and 2 days... and SO FRUSTRATED.  i havent lost my mucous plug or anything. i was 1 cm dialted 4 weeks ago, and nothing has happened since. ive been having contractions off and on, and really severe lower back pain. im set to be induced NEXT thursday, which feels like forever away. im trying to be patient, but am scared my baby is going to be HUGE. i was told by my doc that he thinks the baby is a least 9lbs... and if i have another week to go, thats more time for the baby to get bigger.ARGHHH!!   im gonna go up to labour and delivery today for another non-stress test and hopefully they will check to see if im dialated. wish me luck

I'm with you Nadia77.... baby is still measuring large and has not engaged. No dilation, haven't lost plug... ugh! I'm frustrated but just taking it one day at a time. They'll be giving me an ultrasound and another internal exam next week (I'll be 40 weeks 2 days at that time) and if baby is still measuring large, and cervix isnt' doing anything, we'll be considering a c-section or induction (I will probably opt for c-section if that is the case, because induction has a much lower success rate for women who haven't even started labor at all - they usually just end up in a c-section anyway, so why put myslf through all that?!). That was the LAST thing i wanted - I've hoped, planned, and taken classes for a natural med-free birth - but at this point I'm just following what nature has in store for me/us and keeping in mind that I'll be holding my little guy in no more than 2 weeks - wow!! :) Best wishes to you. Still waiting too... Had my 39 wk appt yesterday, and the baby's head is engaged.  Haven't had any internal exams, so I don't know exactly what's happening down there.  Lost the mucous plug though, so I think that's a good sign.  Just trying to be patient.  Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting!
