Hi everyone! Just got my computer fixed so I'm back :) I'm due on april fools day , so I'm 4 months along now. I haven't felt my baby kick/move yet, but it took until my 17/18th week to feel my son move. I find out nov,12th the gender and the heartbeat was at 143. I don't believe the gender predictor for the heartrate but my sons was 160, so maybe it's a girl? :) The morning/all day sickness has finally passed!! I can eat pasta again! I'm not showing at all, except when I lay down for a while my belly gets hard and pokes out just a little. And of course the dramatic chest changes haha. My son is now 15 months, so he's finally getting his little play buddy. I'm doing much better now that I grieved over the loss of one of the twins at 8 weeks, I suppose it just wasn't meant to be.

I hope everyone is doing well, happy and healthy pregnancies and deliveries to all!!!

Hi all.

I visited the doctor. This is my 15th week going. She said that baby is doing good. There is nothing to worry about the kicks(I dint feel them yet) and that God willing, I will feel them very easily in the coming month i.e 5th month(meaning within coming few weeks).

About headaches as I mentioned,I really have started getting severe and for hours(more than 12hrs sometimes). Its very common for pregnant ladies to get them actually. But coz my last headache(severe) started in the evening and continued the next whole day so I went to the doctor. She asked me to get a urine test done to check the level of ketones. And the result came high so I was given glucose drip. And u know, what it was all coz of vomitting(I go through severe vomitting and not able to eat much so body became weak). After the glucose drip and taking medicine for controlling vomitting,I am better now,not completely. Its so tough to bear all this. But thanks to the Almighty God Who chose us and blessed us with this blessing.Imagine the pain of those who cant get pregnant. And we know that its only a matter of 9months(though its not a short period) and pregnancy is not a disease. So, imagine the pain of a patient who has no cure of the disease he is detected with.

So what I coclude everytime is that we should have more patience and thank God for everything He gives us.For this life is nothing but a test.

Hope all others are doing well.Take care. And yeah the doctor told me that I can take paracitamol in case of headaches. This is all from my end.

I am due 4-21. I have had morning sickness since week 2 of my pregnancy and it hasn't gone away yet. Today I just started my second trimester and I am complety thrilled! I don't think I have felt the baby move just yet, but the other day there was some fluttering, but I don't know if that was the baby or just my stomach rumbling.

I have a doctor appointment Thursday and the next one after that I should be finding out what we are having.

Sunday I woke up with this killer head ache and 15 hours later it still hadn't gone away. .. .I broke down and took some tylenol. It was so hard being sick, with a head ache for that long.

I can't wait for my docotrs appointment- I need to hear that everything is going good. It is true that you worry about them before they are here and even more after they arrive!

Glenda~  I am sorry to hear about your DH's sister.  You should beable to ask to be induced  like 2 weeks early.  Once you hit 37 weeks your considered term, so i think it'd be worth the try.

My DH and I talked about it this morning and he said he would make it up to me if I went into labor on my bday.  And take me out of town to like 2 hours away or something for a weekend, and get a babysitter for the kids.  I was like....ok, but i doubt that will happen ahaha

Ashiepooh--Oh, I could name tons more birthdays in my family for the month of March, but I try not to get carried away (but I usually do anyway).  My mom and I usually spent a week celebrating our birthdays.  We'd have a family get-together plus we'd each have our DH's take us out to dinner on the actually b-day.

As for my due-date, my dr says 4/22, but since that is my SIL's b-day I'm really hoping to avoid that date (DH's sister has caused us a lot of grief).  (She can't help it, she is bipolar and schizophrenic plus a drug addict and alcoholic--as opposite from my DH as utterly possible!)

Glenda, that's awesome!  I have a couple friends whose birthdays are 3/1, 3/3, mine  3/5 , 3/6, 3/7, 3/9, 3/12 lol   crazy!  I'd be happy if it was my bday, but that means my dh has to celebrate for me early LOL  so I can have my dinner.  It's the one time of year I splurge for dinner...LOL  I don't even do that on thanksgiving or christmas, since most of the smells make me sick!  And all I eat is corn and mashed potatoes LOL

If you ask your doctor about your migraines, usually they prescribe vicodin and it doesn't harm the baby but really helps.  I know quite a few people who have been on it, and no harm to the baby and their babies are actually ahead of their age.  I don't know if it's from that, but thats what they have in common lol...

So maybe ask.  I know my doctor told me tylenol with codene, but I am allergic to all basic freaking things...  tylenol, aleve, asprin, advil...  ibuprofen..  ahaha

Also, wanted to let you ladies know they bumped my due date to march 22...  i still kind of hope i make it to april though LMAO...

Ashiepooh--That's the way to have a baby--quick and easy.  BTW, my b-day is 3/6 and my mom's was 3/4.  I think I was her favorite belated b-day present.

Manha--I'm having frequent migraines myself and all I've been able to take is Tylenol.  It helps to take it as soon as you feel it coming on and not wait until it gets full-blown.  If you figure out anything else that works, let me know.

Hi all
Nice to hear that some of us r really getting better. While others r still going thru morning sickness, etc. I wonder whats happening with me these days...!!! A few days back when I last posted I was doing really well, but now nausea(pretty much) and vomitting sensation has again increased. Severe Headache is another problem whole day and as long as I m awake day/night. Is there anything that can be done to control headaches?
Thanks.

I started feeling the babt kick at 10 weeks, so its possible.  it would just be low under your panty line.

Anyways, good to see almost everyone is doing good.  Sometimes, the morning sickness, well all day sickness can last with some people the entire time, but I hope that doesn't happen to any of you!

My next doctor appt is Oct 29.  That would be twice this month lol and I get another u/s that day or the following monday!  For them to really confirm the sex of the baby.  Ahaha they told me last week their pretty sure it's a girl.

I do want to let  you ladies know, they are expecting me to deliver between Feb 22 and March 8.  I have a history of pre-term labor, and those are the in-between dates from which my other two were born.  I hope I make it past March 8th though, because March 5 is my b-day and I want a big dinner LOL  and beable to enjoy it.  My DH thinks i'll have this little bugger on my bday!!  And I told him I refused.  Ahaha...I realize I don't have a lot of option in that, since I don't know when it happens until my water breaks, and even then it's over with a snap of the fingers.

I am going epidural FREE!  Like both others.  With my daughter, I had a great pregnancy, no contractions or anything until the day I had her, I was suppose to work.  And didn't feel like it, so I told my SIL since that's who I worked for.  I got in the shower, washed my hair, and my water broke!  And her head went through....Luckily I live 30 seconds from a firehouse, and they came, and we barely made it to the hospital.  36 minute labor!!  With my son, I was already in the hospital because I was 10 cm dialted for 3 months...  Went in on April 28, 2007 and on May 4, my dh, daughter and I went to the cafeteria to get lunch, and my water broke...Ahaha rushed to the elevator, got on the maternity ward floor, and had my son on the floor outside the elevator.  Ahaha!  20 minutes labor!  This time, my doctor thinks, and I believe my kid will be born at home!  My husband is going through training to deliver the baby, and then an ambulance will take us to the hospital.  We're thinking a 10 minute or less labor.  So really there would never be a need for me to have an epidural.

I am known as a silent dialator without contractions, so as soon as I hit 6 months they will be seeing me every two weeks to check for dialation.  I am actually hoping to go to the due date because I don't like seeing my kids in the NICU for 14 days...  :)

Just wanted to let you ladies know, so when it gets down to time, if I go early, there is my reasons..  :)  But i'm here to support all the wonderful April mommies!!   :)

Hey, ladies, I'm glad for the jumpstart.  I don't feel like I belong on the TTC forum anymore.  I'm due 4/23 (+/- a day).

Well, I'm 11w6d and still pretty sick.  It's not as bad as it was with my 1st, but the last 2 days were worse than normal.  Everything that I HAVE been able to eat has quit agreeing with me, so I'm in big trouble (I'm VERY finicky anyway).  I have to take anti-nausea meds just to get up and about.  Just sitting here at the computer is making me nauseous.  So far I've only lost 2-3 lbs since the BFP, but I lost 16 with my 1st (I have it to spare unfortunately).

I could swear I've felt baby flutters a time or 2 starting Sunday, but the dr doesn't think that's possible.  After seeing what a wiggle-worm s/he was during Monday's u/s, I would think he would believe me (plus this is our 4th baby, so I think I KNOW).

Hi, I still have bad morning sickness (I prefer to call it 'pregnancy' sickness as lasts all day and night!).  Midwife says if have hyperemesis in early pregnancy then usually carries on later than first trimester up to 20 weeks!  I hope mine goes soon so I can function normally again- I feel flu like every day and very congested.. but all worth it though... I'm not complaining at all.  And my dh is doing a 5* job of catering for my every need ;)

My womb feels really heavy.. like having a water balloon inside lower tum.  I have sensations like flutters so guess that is baby moving but most experts say generally cannot feel movement until between 16 & 22 weeks so when I get to that stage I will know then if what I have been feeling is the same. I have been feeling it since 12 weeks!   Either way I am happy because the feeling reassures me that little one is doing ok.  What type of feelings of movement/sensations you've been having Ashiepooh?

Got 16 week midwife ante natal app on friday week.  Cannot wait to hear heartbeat again! x
