low follicle count

I was on birthcontrol for 7 weeks straight with using NO inactive pills.  Then they placed me on lupron.  I only have one follicle developed.  Currently on150 gonal f  and repronex 75 both twice a day and lupron @5 once a day.. I had 11 with no medications.   Would being on the pill and the lupron have affected the production of follicles.

Thank you for your responce.  In August they checked me with no drugs on day 3, and I had 7 follicle on one side and 4 on the other.  August   Fsh was 9.7 in October I was 14.3.  So that is where my original question could the combination of the birth control and the lupron supress my overies too much??

In certain patient with low antral follicle counts, high FSH and diminished ovarian reserve, the birth control pills with Lupron (the so called long protocol) can suppress the ovaries so much that you need much higher doses for ovarian stimulation.
I do not know what you mean that you had 11 with no medications. I presume that means you did not do birth control pills and Lupron before ovarian stimulation with with Gonal F and Repronex.
Some women in your situation would to better with micro-dose lupron flare protocol (the so called short protocol) or no suppression and use Gonal F/Repronex with an antagonist like Ganirelix when the lead follicles reach around 13mm.
This is all very complicated and you would be best served by discussing all this in detail with your IVF doctor to see what they may suggest, if you are planning another cycle.
