I am having a hard time figuring out your question; I think you are saying that you have a cyst at the site of the surgery-- not deep, but at the level of the skin? Sometimes people get a 'hematoma', which is a collection of blood that can form a lump or a 'bubble' of sorts... you can also get cysts from infection, from spinal fluid, and from 'lymph' or the fluid that bathes the tissues. If you have a cyst that is increasing in size and painful, it will probably need to be drained at some point. The main risk with a cyst is that it can put pressure on other tissues and cause pain; it can also become infected.
