Should I wait another 5 weeks to see my neurologist?

I had an MRI a little over a week ago as an attempt to rule out MS.  The next day the radiologist recommended a follow up MRI with contrast due to an area of concern beginning in my left occipital traveling through my lateral ventricle toward my falx - I have no idea what size this is.  My results just came back as a cluster angioma - most likely benign.
With this background, my symptoms have increased over the past two months to the point that I don't leave my house much.  I have periods of pain and/or numbness and tingling in both my right arm and leg.  I have some intense headaches behind my right eye.  And the worst is my mental confusion - I have lapses in conversations, cannot understand people talking and now in the past week troubles with recognition of people I have known for years.
Is there a chance that this is related to the angioma?  With the rate of the onset do I wait until the appointment that my primary caregiver has set with a neurologist?
Thank you in advance to anyone that can support me with sorting all of this -
Brandi

Thank you for your response.  I will contact the neurologist and see if they can possibly see me sooner than my scheduled appointment.

You should take an appointment immidiately. They are related to angioma and any brain occupying lesion in the brain compresses on your normal functions. Once relieved by your primary problem your symptoms will decrease. Take care!
