Question

I was abused by my foster perants I remember what they did they usually slap me really hard with the sally rod which it really hurt 
I.cant get over it my stepdad locked me under the stairs at his sisters house

Yes I am sure you do have flashbacks , its a terrible thing when children are abused . I assume you are an adult,some therapy may help you ,be able to talk it through face to face with a professional .Making your life worthwhile , having a job, helping others ,making sure you keep your thoughts busy away from the past where possible.Sometimes it is our thoughts make us feel bad ., using the distraction method can help .I hope you find some peace ,coming here is a good thing ,many forums on Med Help with members looking for help ..

my real perants took them to court they already had two children of there own the worse thing about is I am asthmatic I could have took a asthma attack they had no respect over me and my sister the social worker never knew they were hitting us because we were to scared to tell incase we would get hurt again my  foster dad was in the army we never got any of our christmas presants that our real perants give us for example my mother which I am living with now she bought a,dolls house which I never got to play with
they are not allowed to foster anymore children I do see my foster mum about sometimes it all  brings it all back to me

I am so sorry this happened to you , were you with them many years ? Do they still foster children as you may be able to report them so it wouldn't happen to any other children. So cruel ...to lock a child up like that ...you have my profound sympathy, have you ever been able to get any therapy to help you get through the feelings you must have ?
