@ Legsilver.. I am sooo proud of you that you took the biggest step which is you know there is a problem. Being on this website is great.. reading others posts and comments and posting your own.. It is so encouraging and inspiring. Please stop this moment from driving drunk hopefully before you get a DUI.. I have gotten one and it isn't fun and more importantly we can really hurt someone and/or ourselves. I think it's important now that you find that place inside of you that wants a beautiful life and tap into it.. find that strength and then never let go. Stay with us here on this site and yes find an AA meeting to attend and if at all possible talk with a counselor. Good luck!! God bless! You can always talk with me.. direct message me if you would like.. anytime!!
and Good for you to recognise there is a problem and want to start to overcome it ..hey there is a good forum here in fact 2 I believe with folks who can help with info Good luck
I would check into an AA group in your area. If you are really serious on making a change in your life, they would've able to help
I mentioned AA because your profile says you are male. If you are female, you might find the positivity of Women for Sobriety useful. womenforsobriety.org is the reference.
Alcoholics Anonymous, for yourself. If you recognize it is a problem (and driving drunk, as you note, is a huge problem) it's time. No matter whether your entire family has this problem, you are here to fix you. That, you can start, by going to an AA meeting. Good luck, it is a long road but people walk out of this problem one step at a time, and thousands or even millions have been able to.
