Adult Son with BPD calls me, his mother, for advise all the time, it this wrong?

My 23 old son with BPD always calls me when he is having relationship problems.  He is usually very upset and often is very angry.  I talk with him and never turn him away because he has no one else he can talk to.  Is this wrong for me to be there for him.  I was told that this was emotional incest and I should not be supporting this type of relationshop with my son.  I feel that I am only being his mother and he calls me when he needs someone to talk to.  Can you help me with this?

I don't see anything wrong with  that either, maybe he just needs to get things off his chest so he calls you!  Whoever said that to you is jealous that you have a good relationship with your son.

I am not sure what "emotional incest" means...could you clarify?  I ask, because my initial reaction is that there isn't anything "wrong" with what you are doing.
