68 Year old brother alcoholic

my brother has drank every day for the past 2 years but has been drinking for all of his life, after wife died he retired and dinks every day past week he has not eaten or drank any fluids but beer, he thinks his wife died yesterday, not 2 years ago lost a lot of weight scared to death help please

Maybe you can play the audio Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book that is free on AA.org ? Maybe he'll hear something that resonates with him?

Sorry to hear that you are suffering from the effects of alcoholism. It might be helpful for you to go to Alanon, either in person or online.? It is a group for the loved ones of alcoholics. I think it might be what you need to be able to step away from this insanity a bit.

who is he living with?Sounds like he wants to die as well with all the abuse he is putting into his body and inflicting upon it!
