Have u gotten urself to Al-Anon yet?if not u need to find some meetings and get urself there.......many men/women like u in the same situation!
Hi, I agree go to Alanon and talk to other people in the same situation, it will help you make a decision about it when you know what you're dealing with. He has to want to quit, and if he doesn't you can't convince him to. He needs to go for help, quitting is hard and he probably can't do it alone. Alcoholism is a horrible disease and could ruin your life. I quit almost 2 years ago, I drank every night, and wasn't good for anybody either. I quit because I wanted my relationship to work with my fiancé. Won't work drinking. When you quit, like I did, you need to go to AA meetings, get a sponsor and study the twelve steps of AA. It's something you have to work at everyday. It is not easy and lots of people go back to drinking after they quit. Go to Alanon and get more education on Alcoholism first before you decide to do anything else. We care. Best Wishes Take Care
