Define Alc addiction

I like to have a vodka martini followed by 1 beer every nite....(2 drinks)

On saturdays and sundays ill have about 6 or 7 drinks (out to dinner or a show with wife)

What do you all think?  do i have a problem?

if u drink 4 the buzz.....if u lose control over the amount u planned to drink, and ur behavior if ppl tell u ur personality changes..if it causes legal,family,marital, job problems...then alcohol is a problem!

I would suggest to try not to drink and then see what happens,Can you, and if you do are  you irritable, is it all you can think about? I think this might help you to see if you are and try it for a Month. Even around others drinking and see if you can handle life on it's own terms for a month,without needing "something" to unwind.Alcoholism is cunning,baffling and powerful. Only a suggestion,good on you for reaching out.

hi. if it does not interfere with your daily life, i see no reason to be alarmed. this is actually considered to be a healthy amount as far as benefits go. i could never drink like that for long. in my opinion i would not be worried about a problem at this stage. best wishes,  gm

no probs at all.....

i enjoy a couple of drinks (2) while watching TBS sitcoms after work.....and on weekends i go to dinner with wife and have maybe 3 or 4.....

I like it, and its part of my day....IT IS HABITUAL......

hi. the amount and frequency are not nearly as important as what happens. could you do without it if you wanted to? have you had any problems (legal, job related or social) as a result of your drinking? please advise, gm
