if my father been drinking everyday since he was 17yrs and he now 46 what are the sign effects he have if he stops for two weeks to take medcation because of a stomuch bacterica? please help

Jenn is right, it can be very dangerous but again so can the bacteria. My concern is what has caused the bacteria and is it alcohol related?

You can't just stop.  It so dangerous.  He needs to consult a doctor and perhaps go to a detox.  If he's an alcoholic it won't matter if he's taking medication or not.  His body physically needs the alcohol.  I hope it works out for you.
