Hi,
You could also take some OTC pain relief medications for a few days.
It would still be advisable to consult your doctor if your symptoms persist.
Do keep us updated and let us know if you have any other doubts.

I went to a local store and bought some non-medicated saline solution. So far I have used it twice and cant really tell a difference. Guess its worth a shot.
I haven't had any CT scans done of the sinuses. I really didn't think it was sinus related because I lacked all the other allergy symptoms. Here is what I found on acute sinusitis:
Signs and symptoms
Signs and symptoms of acute sinusitis may include:
Facial pain
Fever
Pain, tenderness and swelling around your eyes, cheeks, nose or forehead
Erythema, or redness of the skin over the sinus caused by increased blood flow to the capillaries
Nasal congestion
Difficulty breathing through your nose
Reduced sense of smell or taste
Dental pain
Cough
Bad breath (halitosis)
Fatigue
Nausea
Sore throat
Of all those common symptoms, the only ones I really experience are slight fatigue, headaches in the back and front of my head and pressure. I can breath through my nose fine, no congestion, sneezing, coughing, nasal drip, etc.... Is it possible that this is still whats effecting me without the other documented symptoms?
I do have 2 dogs that stay inside. Ive never been allergic to dogs, but maybe the combination of dust and pet dander is effecting me? I would still think that my nose would be clogged and I would have difficulty breathing if this were the cause.
Hi,
You seem to be having allergic rhnitis or sinusitis.
Has a CT scan of the sinuses been done? This could be due to the post nasal drip that occurs associated with sinusitis or associated allergies.
You should try some steam inhalation and saline nasal drops along with oral antihistamine medications and see if it helps with your symptoms. You could also take some oral pain releif medications.
Are you allergic to any specific substances?
It is in fact a good idea to consult an allergy specialist and get a clinical evaluation.
You should consult your symptoms if your symptoms still persist. Let us know about how you are doing and if you have any other doubts.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
