Hi, its unlikely that flu vaccine can affect the heart. Any untoward effects of the vaccine are unlikely to last that long. Its more likely that she is having her symptoms of dizziness due to low blood pressure. So, your doctor has advised for her to take fluids and salt. So, follow up on this and see if it helps improve her symptoms and monitor her blood pressure at regular intervals. Regards.
My daughter saw the cardiologist yesterday. He didn't do any new tests, but asked a lot of questions about how it feels when she's out of breath and when she has these episodes with her eyes going black and dizziness.
He feels that she needs to drink more water and eat more salt. Once her body is more regulated, these other symptoms should stop. If she follows the protocol but isn't getting any better, we need to go back in a month. Of course, If it gets worse, we need to go in sooner.
Has anyone had to deal with dehydration in their teenage daughter or son?
