Allergy/Sinus Anxiety

Hi...it feels great to hear that I am not the only one suffering with these issues! I thought I was completely losing my mind! I have always dealt with sinus/allergies, but lately they have been more severe than ever before! Head pressure, nausea, jaw pain, eye pain/itching, red eye, swelling of the head (thought I had a brain tumor). The Doctor's bills last  year were RIDICULOUS! Now I'm suffering from anxiety because I always believe its more than just allergy/sinus pressure. Lately, I've been freaking out at least once a week...my family all thinks I'm absolutely nuts! Again...it just feels good to have others to reach out to.

If anyone finds any natural remedies, please post!

Good to hear someone out there has the same issue. I have not had a CT Scan or anything, just allergy testing. When I went to a neurologist he just said it was stress and tension headaches. I guess like you I feel like the stress comes when the pressure hits hardest. I feel really panicky on days where it hits the worst. I have really tried to keep track and write things down to know exactly what the cause is but have not really narrowed it down just yet. I do know I would feel a whole lot better if I did have some sort of scan to rule other things out but the ENT and Neuro did not seem to think it was necessary. My pressure like yours it seems is more bothersome on my right side. Have you had any scans? I plan on starting the shots in Jan to see how they play out. It just takes a huge amount of energy and time and money to do that and I have my doubts.

Hi there, I am having the same issue. I am not so sure just yet if the allergies are causing me to have more anxiety or if the anxiety and stress makes my allergies worse! The head pressure is what leads me to nearly panic mode. I keep thinking this can not just be allergies! Have you been tested with an allergist? My allergist assures me that allergies can cause all these symptoms but when the allergy medication seems to not work that is what really gets you. My head pressure and the pressure I get in my upper right cheek is the worst. Have you had a CT scan or anything? I would be interested in natural remedies too but the allergist I am seeing is recommending allergy shots.. not so sure yet.
