I will send you a message re cataracts. There is no link.
Hey allmymarbles!
I am very interested to find out more about cataract reversal.
Could you please let me know, or send me a link.
Thanks a million!
And I appreciate your comments. We share the same philosophy
when it comes to health matters. And we lead by example!
( I haven't touched not even an aspirin, in ages!)
Confrontation is always counter-productive as it lowers the vibrational frequency

Very happy to hear from you. I have long been a proponent of alternative medicine and was completely vindicated when my young daughter, who was a semi-invalid for four years, was cured in three weeks through alternative medicine.
It might interest you to know that I have recently reversed my cataracts by using a European procedure along with an addition I added myself. Whereas I once needed cataract surgery, I no longer do, and even my presbyopia is regressing. I mentioned this on the Eye Care forum and was told what I did could not work. I asked if he (the doctor on the forum) would change his mind if I could produce documentation. He said documentation could be fraudulent. I have documentation from a retina specialist, but I did not see any value in continuing the confrontation.
We are a growing force in medicine. Although we are depicted as ignorant dupes, you and I know that it is the educated who are promoting and practicing alternative medicine. We do not need anyone's approval.
Hi allmymarbles.
It is definitely a threat to the "traditional" medical establishment. I'm not surprised.
Just search different web sites. I know, personally, of many people that got nowhere with traditional medical approaches, with meds and creams and other treatments.
And the majority of them got healed, some very fast, after using these alternative modalities.
I cannot mention specific cases of mine, as it would be unethical to do so.
N.A.E.T. has 1000s of Doctors an Health practitioners around the world.
Now, only M.D.s can train in NAET.
I personally use "Allergy Antidotes". I trained with Sandi Radomski, the Allergy expert and creator of this program . It might work faster than NAET . Not sure though. I take matters case by case.
There might be a basic manual available as a free download. You can check this as I don't have this information first hand.
Fastest allergy elimination technique I've ever used is the "Spinal Release Process".
There have been many "instant" allergy eliminations using it.
I use a variety of "weaved" versions of this procedure, combining other elements with it!
And I love to see the results. It is very gratifying.
You seem to be very open minded and actively involved in seeking health "wisdom".
Good for you!
If you want to give it a try on your own ( you'll need a partner) go to my post on Dec.27,2010 to Mariyamari.
You must realize that each situation is different.
The approach sometimes has to be both scientific and artful using intuitive skills for more complex cases.
When my intuition points to emotional issues, Energy psychotherapy is usually
necessary, before the physical symptoms can get cleared.
People sometimes do not even suspect, that they carry heavy emotional "stuff" in them for years and cannot move on, cannot get better, until the emotional "stuff" gets dealt with effectively!
It is a very challenging endeavor though, and perhaps that is what draws me
to all the aspects of holistic psychotherapy.
Should you have any questions please post again,
or send a message to me directly.
Blessings,
Nikodicreta
I looked up NAET. I found an article, by a supposed medical expert, who made fun of it. I was treated many years ago with kinesiology (which appears to be the same thing) and was cleared of all my food allergies. This article made it sound like voodoo. I note that Carlton Fredericks (one of the first to promote vitamins) observed that an allergy was often detected by testing with the allergen for muscle weakness.
By the way, there is apparently a new and faster technique for ridding the body of allergies.
Yes, Nikodicreta, AIA is a very interesting subject.
The improvement and reduction of meds after aspirin desensitization is amazing from the reports I have read. These patients typically don't have allergic asthma or respond to allergy treatments for asthma. They have a totally different mechanism triggering their asthma. Somewhat allergy related with leukotriine involvement, but it is not a true allergy.
From what I have read, getting a good diagnosis is the trick with AIA. This is difficult because a lot of doctors are unaware of this complicated form of asthma and patients don't necessarily recognize the trigger. Once you have the diagnosis and are desensitized treatment becomes much easier.
You are right though. There are layers to asthma and they all have to be examined and treated.
Hi and welcome.
There's a treatment for asthma called "Buteyko Breathing Method" where a lot of people get much relief from it. Clinical studies show that in a few weeks people reduce albuterol / short acting med's by 90% and long term acting meds by 50% with 90% reduction in symptoms.
Check the following site for some results of a couple studies:

This method in conjunction with Energy Medicine Allergy Elimination
could be a great Holistic approach.
Asthma is largely Allergy based and also has an emotional component.
Energy medicine addresses both Allergy and Emotions very effectively.
Jimmy Scott, Ph.D in his book "Energy and Allergy", Treatment means that it is the Energy imbalance that is treated, not the physical or psychological symptoms.
If the Energy balance is restored, then the symptoms will be eliminated by the body itself.
Allergy Elimination Practitioners in your areas should be able to facilitate some
significant treatment.
Look into N.A.E.T.(Dr. Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques)
or "Allergy Antidotes". ( I practice the latter here in Canada with good success.)
Very similar approaches, both Energy Medicine modalities, efficient and drugless.
Symptom: Asthma - 10 year survey (NAET provided the results)
Total number of patients treated for Asthma over a ten-year period: 560
V-15: Number of patients received resolution of symptoms in 15 visits: 375
V-25: Number of patients received resolution of symptoms in 25 visits: 85
V-50: Number of patients received resolution of symptoms in 50 visits: 34
>V-50: Number of patients received resolution of symptoms in >50 visits: 62
NI: 4 patients (.71 percent) either did not follow through the treatment program or
did not respond to NAET.
Interesting comments from bsmsl. This A/A type can really complicate ones life!
allmymarble's suggestion is also worth exploring. The observation that I made was that while the lung to colon connection is accurate and both are linked to the immune system, in richard_f 's and bsmsl's situation- possible A/A type?- there are more layers to peel.
I hope that my suggestions are useful, however please do your own research
before making any decisions regarding your health.
Blessings to all,
Nikodicreta
Interestingly enough Chinese medicine links the lung to the colon. Fix one, fix the other. Maybe you should consult with a competent Chinese herbalist.
Aspirin Induced Asthma (AIA) This asthma is triggered by chemicals similar to aspirin including all NSAIDs (aspiring, ibuprophen, naproxen). It involves a rather complex process involving prostoglandins, COX-1 and COX-2, leukotriines and other mechanisms in the lungs.
Around 2000, a warning came out that asthmatics should not take NSAIDs because of this reaction. At the time I had just been diagnosed with asthma, I had never had a reaction to NSAIDs so I continued taking them. Then I had a episode of mild shortness of breath after taking ibuprophen so I stopped taking all NSAIDs. Then is 2008, I had a back injury and needed some thing to stop the pain when acetominophen wouldn't touch it so I tried ibuprophen again. I took one and had mild symptoms I could control with my inhaler. I took another one the next day but I couldn't control my sob with my inhaler so I stopped taking them again. This is why I am going to be tested for AIA.
This is a severely under diagnosed form of asthma. One reason for this is that the reaction can start up to 3 hours from the ingestion of the triggering chemical. By that time the patient has probably totally forgotten what could have triggered it.
This affects about 20% of all asthma patients. Do you also have chronic sinusitis issues? Reports say that up to 40% of asthma patients with chronic sinusitis have AIA.
AIA is characterized by being adult onset, chronic severe asthma that is possibly steroid dependent.
Why would I suggest that for you? Aspirin is derived from the bark of a willow tree. The chemical that triggers this type of asthma is in most plants, including just about every fruit and vegetable you can find. Sooo... eating a healthy diet can trigger your asthma if you have AIA. While you were sick, I assume you were not eating much. Therefore, if you have AIA, you were not triggering it with the foods you normally eat.
My allergist is going to do an aspirin challenge on me. If I react to the aspirin, then she will desensitise me to aspirin (and all NSAIDs). The desensitization will then have to be maintained with a daily dose of aspirin.
Another option would be to adopt an salicylate free diet. You would have to stop eating apples, broccolli, carrots, broad beans, tomatos, cheese, coffee, teas, herbs and spices, condiments, grapes, figs, peanuts, soy, almonds... The list could go on and on pretty much leaving you with meats, eggs and maybe bread. If you want a more complete list, you can do a search for it. If I do react to aspirin, I will go through the densitazation process because most of my favorite foods are on the don't eat list.
This is just one possibility, but I thought I would throw it out to you. You will have to discus it with your doctor. There are a lot of good medical journal articles available for you to print and take to your doctor if you want to. Search aspirin allergy (technically not an allergy but that search turns up some good stuff), Aspirin Induced Asthma, salicylate asthma... stuff like that.
I curently have 3 other issues that are being investigated as possibilities for my difficult asthma inculding bronchiecstasis, a fungal infection and bile reflux. Since you could breathe so much better while you had the stomach bug, I think AIA may be a very good fit for you.
Let me know what your doctors say and how things turn out.
God bless.
