Drug interactions should be checked with your physician and on the website for the manufacturer of lipitor. It's hard to see why there would be a problem , but that's why we must check. Now, whether lipitor is safe or you need the extra chromium, I have more questions about, but I'll leave that alone!
thanks for the reply... I know that Lipitor IS NOT safe but I have tried everything natural and still have a total cholesterol of 286. I am taking the chromium to bring down my blood sugar it is slightly elavated average about 125 I know that is not to high but my doctor doesnt like it ...As for the cholesterol.. I am all for any natural cures but I am at my wits end...any suggestions??
What's the breakdown between HDL, LDL, and triglycerides, and what's your diet and exercise like?
There is much controversy about cholesterol, but it is muted because of pharmaceutical financial interests in statins. Half of those who die of strokes or heart attacks have no history of high cholesterol. DeBakey discounted cholesterol. My own doctor pays no attention to it. What is the true role of cholesterol and how should one proceed? I don't know, but I won't take Lipitor.
