Hello there,
Vitamins B complex is extremely important for hypothyroid. Proper minerals intake is also helpful and you need to eat foods that are rich in vitamin A like yellow vegetables, dark green leafy vegetables and also eggs. For a complete list of food that have rich vitamin A you can google ''vitamin A rich foods''.
In complement to vitamins B complex you should consider Spirulina, black Cohosh and siberian ginseng ( if you really want the best thing on the market that contains not only spirulina but many other superfoods go for Green+ powder or SuperFood RX, I do take Green+ and the results are amazing and 3 tea spoon is basically like taking 6 green salad portions. Black Cohosh will help to balance your estrogen level. Physical activity is highly recommended to balance your homones.
Best regards,

I seem to have side effects from taking B12 tabs is there a liquid form I can get ? I know I should take some. Thanks for the input it was very helpful
Yeah you can get a sublingual B complex which is a liquid complex. Also you should check this is out:
http://www.iherb.com/Thyroid
There you can find special thyroid remedies, just order online or note the names and see if your local food supplements store have the products.
Margy, Margy, Margy. We've been through this on the complementary medicine forum. Tsh reveals nothing. To test the thyroid properly you have to test at least T4 and T3, and preferable T1 and T2 as well. And if you are hypothyroid, the natural remedy is kelp and bladderwrack for their iodine content.
hey there Pax ..good group this ,.I like to get further input I had left it on the back burner ,so to speak, thats all they offer TSH...I guess I will have to demand more ...I was taking kelp liquid but had side effects ...the other day I found a Hyroid support capsule I have been trying ..thanks for your input .
I got some sublingual b complex today and hope it works I have also gone to look at the thyroid link you told me about thanks a lot ..
You are welcome. Can you tell me what sublingual B complex you got? What brand?
Thanks
Hi Margy,
I may have missed you on the thyroid community .. haven't been there in a few weeks .. been so busy, but I'm here with a kidney stone ? and saw you here!
What were your TSH levels?
I am more hypo than hyper but within normal limits but I get side effects even at TSH 2.3 vs. 1.8 in the GI Dept. So they call it subclinical ... some searches on that are helpful.
I'm interested on the herbal info for those of us who don't need a dr's RX and can try to control it otherwise.

Hi ChitchatNine I lost the paperwork with the TSH on, they told me it was normal, had it done about 9months ago, asked the Doctor to put in an order for the free T4 and the T3 he said if the TSH was normal I hadnt got low thyroid he was one of these types who know it all, I am told that they lowered the numbers for a positive, I am battling around trying to get answers as I cant get a diagnosis and treatment ...I have decide to go to another Doctor and be foim about what I want, I have only to tell him all my symptoms for him to know something is asmiss...
