Alcohol and Anti-depressants

Hi, I was just wondering how alcohol effects antidepressants.  I just heard that its bad to drink when taking meds...I'm just wondering why? What happens? And how much do you need to drink for those things to start happening? I've drinken while on Pristiq in past, and had no idea you arent suposed to drink while on these meds.  I had plans to tonight...but not so sure now.

Heya's, its not ideal to mix medicine with alchohol as i know from experience, what it does is equal the volume of the intake and it will make you feel sick, i know it sounds patronising to hear from people and your doctor that you shouldnt drink while on them, but it is a guidline to keep in mind.
