bad anxiety......

I had gad until I had my daughter five months ago. Now my doc said I have panic disorder with hypochondria. I'm on 50mg of zoloft but I think its making me worse. I'm scared to be alone due to panic attack. I take. 5 ativan in the morning but its seems to just take the edge off. My hands are always sweaty.....I feel like I'm just a mess. I have four babies and I need to get over this

How long have you been on the zoloft?  I have been on it for 14 years and it has helped so much with my panic and hypochondria. You may also need a higher dose. When I was at my worse, I was on 150 mgs (which the doctor would slowly increase for you). I am now on 50 mgs which works great. It does take 4-6 weeks to really feel the effects.

You also though need to see a therapist, do you have one?  Support groups are great as well. Really reach out to people, you are not alone in this and you don't have to be.

It had a panic attack last year from a dull pain in my back. The panic got worse as i focused on it and i realized my mind was releasing chemicals that was causing the panic.. Whats going on in your life that you feel is causing the  panic, mine was from the dull pain.

My mom had a heart attack when I was young and that's where my anxoety started. I had my heart checked not long ago and all was fine but now I seem to find other things wrong with me to make me panic. I can't even leave the house without fear of having a panic attack. I try so hard to fight it but the feeling of a panic attack are just so hard to deal with at times. I'm always going to the doctor or er. I have four kids that range from seven years to five months. I just wish I could get over this panic thing. Not just for me but for my family.
